The instant I stepped through the red door, I knew I had been here before. Although, the plush magenta upholsteries and the gold fringed red velvet curtains had been refurbished; its essence triggered memories I had long obliterated. It was the prime of Gay-Paree, I had a flirtatious dally in a ménage à cinq with Prince P, Baron Pierre, Jamail, (an Islamic school chum of the prince) and my then lover/chaperone/Valet, Andy.
After a provocative photo-shoot at Notre-Dame, the baron suggested we visit this historic eatery. Located at 24 Rue Chanoinesse, Paris 4th 75004, Au Vieux Paris d’Arcole, was the converted old Canon’s house - one of Paris’ oldest building, built in 1512.
Walter and I had crossed Petit Pont-Neuf (Small New Bridge) on foot, before arriving at Place Saint-Michel. After my photo op at La Saint-Chapelle and Saint-Michel’s fountain, our stomachs needed to be fed.
That was when we stumbled upon the charming Au Vieux Paris d’Arcole; after perusing the endless commercial bistros and brasseries, in and around Île de la Cité (the spiritual and historical heart of old Paris).
When the waiter had taken our order, I related to ‘hubby’, “It was in this chamber, Baron Pierre and Jamail played footsies with me.”
No sooner had I uttered my declaration, I felt a foot flirting with my feet below table. We burst into laughter.
“Are you seducing me?” I quipped.
Walter gave me a wicked winked and muttered, “We should head back to our hotel after lunch.”
“Are we going to Hôtel de Crillon?” I queried.
“Why Crillon?” he asked.
“That’s where we had our erotic ménage à cinq in the lap of luxury,” I answered before I added, “Darling, I don’t come cheap.”
“You’re not a cheap date, for sure.”
I responded merrily, “I’m glad you are aware that la crème de la crème doesn’t come cheap.”
“That, I know,” my beloved replied with a sly grin. “Now that I’ve caught you, I ain’t letting you go.”
“You better not be so cocksure. I may just run back to Andy’s arms,” I teased.
“I may not be as rich or as handsome as your exes. Those you described so indelibly and succulently in A Harem Boy’s Saga; a memoir by Young series.” He paused before he continued, “One thing I do know; I satisfy you more than any of them could.”
We laughed-out-loud because I knew, my ‘hubby’s prowess is as potent as the day we met.
This and other amusing vignettes are documented in A Harem Boy’s Saga; a memoir by Young (moi – aka Bernard Foong) - (a 5 – 7 book autobiographical series): http://amzn.to/1FMlHVY
